R&D Earthworks LLC was founded in 2023 with a straightforward goal: help clients get their land projects done right and build something worth standing behind. We are a civil contracting company based in eastern North Carolina, and we work across a wide stretch of the state serving property owners, developers, and builders who need reliable ground-up earthwork.

The idea behind starting R&D Earthworks was personal. The owner wanted to do work that actually made a difference for clients while building a business rooted in honest service. That combination, caring about the outcome and taking ownership of the work, shapes how every job gets handled from the first call to the final grade.

We specialize in civil contracting work with a strong focus on subdivision development, site grading, stormwater systems, and utility installation. Whether a project starts with raw land or needs a full site prep before construction can begin, we have the equipment and experience to move it forward. Our crews handle excavation, land clearing, pipe work, pond construction, erosion control, tree work, and dirt hauling.
